Mayor Zhao Aijun met with the delegation and the two sides held talks on matters related to the promotion of project construction.

Zhao Aijun, on behalf of Anshan Municipal Government, welcomed the Nigerian delegation and briefed the Nigerian delegation on the economic and social development of Anshan. He said that at present, Anshan City is seizing the major opportunity of the implementation of the national "the Belt and Road" initiative, supporting and encouraging enterprises to "go out", establishing industrial parks overseas, strengthening international production capacity cooperation, promoting industrial development and trade improvement, striving to improve Anshan's level of opening up to the outside world and vigorously developing export-oriented economy. Developing modern equipment manufacturing industry is the top priority of Anshan's industrial transformation and upgrading. Anshan Municipal Government will give full support to Liaoning Huaye Group in building the EPC project of Nigeria National Electrotechnical Industrial Park, and hope that both sides will further expand economic and trade cooperation to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

During their stay in Anshan, the delegation will visit Liaoning Huaye Group and conduct the last field survey on the general contracting design, key product manufacturing, process management, talent training and other aspects of the project. The delegation will also visit Liaoning University of Science and Technology and negotiate with the university for talent training.

The EPC construction project of Nigeria National Electrotechnical Industrial Park is contracted by China Great Wall Industrial Corporation with an investment of 170 million US dollars. Liaoning Huaye Group will fully participate in the construction of the project. The successful participation of Huaye in overseas projects this time will certainly drive more enterprises in our city to go abroad and comprehensively improve the overseas competitiveness of Anshan enterprises .
